Can I build my pool at the same time as my home?
Yes — and with King Homes NSW, this is exactly how it works. Our King Pools division builds your pool during the home construction process. One builder, one contract, one handover. You move into a finished home with a completed, water-filled pool from day one.
Do I need a separate pool builder?
Not with King Homes NSW. Most builders finish your home and then refer you to a separate pool company — leaving you to manage two contracts, two builders and two construction schedules. We handle both under one roof, from design through to handover.
Can the pool be included in my construction finance or home loan?
Yes. Because the pool is built as part of your home construction contract, it can typically be included in your construction loan — rather than requiring separate personal finance at a higher rate. Speak with your lender and mention that your builder includes the pool in the build contract. We can provide the documentation your lender needs.
What pool sizes are available?
Our standard King Pools packages include a 7m × 3m pool and a 5.25m × 4m pool, both with 3 internal steps. Both options are available from $49,990 for pools up to 21m². Custom pool sizes and shapes are also available, including pools for sloping sites, narrow lots and larger acreage properties. Contact our team for a custom quote.
Can you build pools on sloping sites?
Yes. Sloping sites often require additional engineering and retaining, which affects cost — but they’re buildable. Our team assesses each site individually and provides an indication of any additional costs before you commit to anything. In many cases, a sloping site actually creates an opportunity for a more architecturally interesting pool position.
What if I'm not sure which pool size is right for my block?
Our team will review your block dimensions, setback requirements and how your home is positioned on the site, and recommend a pool size that actually works — not the largest one we can fit. We’d rather design something that suits your family’s lifestyle and your block’s proportions than push you into a pool that doesn’t work well with the home.
Do I need a separate approval for a pool?
A pool typically requires council approval — either as a Complying Development Certificate (CDC) or a Development Application (DA), depending on your council and block. When you build with King Pools, this approval is managed by our team alongside your home’s approval. You don’t need to organise a separate approval process with a pool company.
Can I see a completed King Pool before I decide?
Yes. We have King Pools onon display at HomeWorld Leppington and Oran Park — fully completed homes and pool package you can walk through before committing to anything.
